A new Steam mobile application has been released — with the ability to install games on a PC remotely

The Steam mobile app for iOS and Android has been seriously updated with a new design and features, including new login options and remote downloads.

As before, you can enable two-step authentication, but there is also an option to log in using a QR code.

In addition, you can now set up alerts to receive notifications whenever games from the wishlist go on sale or receive a friend request.

The updated application also allows you to manage your account data and download games to your PC remotely.

Other features, such as viewing community pages, news, your library and store, remained in place, but improvements were made to the interface.

The use of a trading platform now requires confirmation, which theoretically makes transactions more secure.

There is also support for multiple accounts and access control for devices connected to your account directly from the application.
