Activision: Call of Duty: Vanguard did not meet expectations due to the setting

In a major report last year, Activision acknowledged that Call of Duty: Vanguard as a premium product did not live up to the expectations of both the company and fans of the series. According to the publishers, there are two reasons for this - the lack of innovation and the setting of the Second World War, which is already fed up.

However, as is often the case in such situations, the creators “realized their mistakes” and promise to please everyone in Modern Warfare 2. The latter, we recall, is being created by the Infinity Ward studio, and some “grand innovations” are waiting for fans in this game.

Activision is expected to unveil a new Call of Duty this month.
