As part of the presentation of the State of Play publishing house Bandai Namco and developers from Game Studio announced a sci-fi shooter from the third person Synduality.
The release of the project is scheduled for 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam).
In Synduality, players are given the role of a hero and his AI-driven robot named Magus, exploring the dystopian landscape of 2222, when humanity was almost completely extinct as a result of the cataclysm.
The game will also offer multiplayer modes in which several people can unite in a unit and go on joint missions — or get together in a duel for the opportunity to get precious supplies.
"In the game, players take on the role of Drifters — people who make a living collecting AO crystals, a rare resource available on Earth.
In this quest, they will face xenomorphic creatures known as the Enders, and they will be able to count on Magus, their AI partner, who will support them on their journey, assist in battles, warn of danger and give direction.
Throughout the journey, players will have to develop and strengthen the connection between the character and artificial intelligence.
Gameplay and battles centered around the Cradles — armed vehicles in which players will move on the surface.
They are fully customizable and can be personalized — from the look to the weapon — according to their own style of play.
The game will also offer a multiplayer, where other Drifters can both help you and act against you. "
Popular Japanese artist Neko is responsible for the design of the characters, while mechanical creatures were painted by Ippei Gebu ("Gandam", "Cabaneri Iron Fortress").
Producer Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Yosuke Futami oversees the development of the game.
