The situation with the supply of GeForce RTX 4090 should normalize by the beginning of 2022, NVIDIA announced.

The company also stated that the entire batch of the new flagship GPU was sold out in two weeks from the release date.

According to NVIDIA CFO Colette Kress, who spoke at the 26th annual Credit Suisse technology Conference, the company will resume shipments of RTX 4090 in the first quarter of 2023 and is going to completely solve the problem of under-deliveries by the end of next year, creating a balance between supply and demand.

Meanwhile, unlike the RTX 4090, the demand for the RTX 4080 turned out to be significantly lower due to the too high price in relation to performance, so the video cards of the pre-flagship model can still be found at some vendors.

However, Kress noted that the Ada Lovelace family of accelerators is at the beginning of the delivery phase, and sales of the RTX 4080 have just begun, while the entire batch of RTX 4090 has already been shipped at that time.
