All Steam Deck consoles booked must reach customers by the end of the year

Following the news of the doubling of the pace of production of portable gaming PCs, Steam Deck Valve made a new encouraging announcement.

The company said that problems with the delivery and production of devices are solved faster than planned, so all currently booked consoles should reach buyers by the end of this year.

Moreover, Valve managed to move many customers from Q4 pool (Q4 — October to December) to Q3 pool (Q3 — July to September).

"We will be able to meet demand faster than we expected for all those who are currently in the reservation queue," Valve wrote.

“Many of the supply chain disruptions that are causing Steam Deck shortages are gradually being addressed, and we are continuing to increase production, enabling us to assemble more portable PCs in a shorter time than before.”

Recently it became known that the number of Steam Deck-compatible projects from the Steam Digital Store library has already exceeded the 4000 mark.
