Screenshots of the next Valheim update

The authors of Valheim, whose sales recently exceeded 10 million copies, presented a couple of screenshots of the Misty Lands update.

On them you can see the buildings that players will explore in the novelty. According to the authors, they have yet to “age” the buildings, turning them into “like ruins”, emphasizing the age of the structures. According to the mythology of the project, some ancient civilizations were responsible for the creation of these places.

In addition, the developers said that they continue to work on a new kind of inhabitants of local lands, the nature of which they have decided to keep a secret. A little earlier, the authors showed a video demonstrating a model of a hare, which will also be present in the "foggy" areas.

The creators of the survival game also said that they are trying to solve the problem with the loss of progress for players when, due to synchronization with the cloud, saves are overwritten to an earlier version. Users will be waiting for a special patch that should fix this flaw.

The release of "Misty Lands" is scheduled for this year.
