Recently, Bandai Namco announced the development of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, a classic role-playing game that debuted in 2003 on the Nintendo GameCube console.

An updated version of the classic is being created for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch systems — it will be available in the first half of 2023.

According to official information, through the release of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Bandai Namco hopes to introduce the classic game to a new audience.

For this purpose, she will receive a number of visual and gameplay changes. On the Tokyo Game Show 2022, the first gameplay was shown.

The video below shows the PlayStation 4 version from 37:58 to 44:50, and the PlayStation 4 version from 45:05 to 46:32.

Previously, the game was republished on PlayStation 3 and PC in 2013 and 2016, respectively.

Bandai Namco says that the new remaster looks better than a reissue for PlayStation 3, and shows a clear comparison:Recall that the events of Tales of Symphonia occur in the fantastic world of Silvarant, which is dependent on a magical resource — mana.

According to ancient legends, only the chosen hero can bring order and balance to the period of crisis and destruction.

The storytelling in the game is carried out on behalf of the young man Lloyd Irving and his friends, who go on an amazing adventure, covering dozens of locations and hundreds of unique characters.
