"Batman" headed April's "pirate" top of films in Russia

The Bulletin of the Movie Distributor portal presented a list of the most popular films among Russian pirates in April.

The first place was expectedly taken by the new version of "Batman" - since the Matt Reeves picture was not officially released in the country in March, many saw it for the first time thanks to the digital release on HBO Max.

The second position was taken by another film adaptation of Agatha Christie directed by Kenneth Branagh - "Death on the Nile", where Branagh again returned to the role of detective Poirot. In third place was Roland Emmerich's science fiction action movie Moonfall.

In addition, Michael Bay's new film, ER, where one of the main roles was played by Jake Gyllenhaal, got into the list in 10th place.
