Capcom returned Steam versions of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 7 without a nextgen update, which was released a few days ago. Previously, fans complained about performance issues, especially the lack of DX11 support. Now the games are again available without ray tracing, 3D sound and DX12. Capcom has prepared a short guide for those who want to go back to previous versions. Recall that the updated Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 are also available on the PS5 and Xbox Series. In addition, all three games on PS5 received DualSense support.
