Strauss Zelnik, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, mentioned Grand Theft Auto 6 during a telephone conversation with investors following the results of the past quarter.
Speaking about the project, the head of Take-Two said that Rockstar Games intends to set a new bar for creativity in the gaming and entertainment industry.
"Now that the development of the next part of the Grand Theft Auto series is in full swing, the Rockstar Games team is determined to re-establish creative benchmarks for the series, our industry and the entertainment market, as the label has done with each of its cutting-edge releases," Zelnik said.
Apart from a few statements confirming that the development of the next GTA is ongoing, there is no specific information about the game itself.
When there will be a full-fledged announcement, and especially the release, still nothing is known.
