Comedy shooter High on Life broke into first place in the Xbox Game Pass

Comedy shooter High on Life from the studio Squanch Games continues to gain popularity among players.

Previously, the project became the best-selling game of the week on Steam, and now it has broken out into the Game Pass leaders.

Currently, High on Life is the No. 1 game in the Xbox Game Pass library on consoles and in the cloud, ahead of such hits as Minecraft and Forza Horizon 5 in popularity.

In the PC Game Pass rating, the project is still on the second line.

The success of High on Life has allowed it to become not only one of the best first-day releases in Xbox Game Pass for 2022, but also one of the best Day One releases since the subscription launch in 2017.

High on Life was created by the co-author of "Rick and Morty" Justin Royland and is a first-person shooter in which players need to stop an alien cartel invading Earth using various talking guns.

The project was released on December 13 exclusively on Xbox and PC. The Western press rated the novelty mixed.

Some liked the game, while others had negative impressions. The average rating of High On Life is 69/100 on OpenCritic and 63/100 on Metacritic.
