Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima has promised to release future Kojima Productions Games on Mac

Kojima Productions' work with Apple will not be limited to transferring Death Stranding: Director's Cut to Mac, said Hideo Kojima.

The studio also plans to release its future games on the computers of the Apple company.

The game designer did not give any examples, but, apparently, after the first Death Stranding on Mac, we can expect a second one, which has so far been announced only for PlayStation 5.

"This is just the beginning. We are actively working to present our future games on the Apple platform," the developer said.

Recall that at the WWDC 2023 presentation, Apple announced Game Mode, a new gaming feature for Mac computers that will be exclusive to the next version of macOS called Sonoma, coming out this fall.

When the game mode is turned on, macOS will redirect the power of the video accelerator and CPU from background tasks to the running game, thereby providing an even smoother and more stable frame rate, as well as reducing the audio delay on AirPods and input when playing on controllers.

Game Mode will work with any games, both released and future.
