Epic Games Store now returns 5% from every purchase in the store

Epic Games Store has added another useful feature called "Epic Rewards" to its list of features.

This program allows users to return 5% from each transaction in the store to the account balance and then spend the accumulated funds to purchase games, add-ons and virtual currency "at great prices".

You can receive and activate Epic rewards when making purchases in the Epic Games Store, in-game purchases on PC in games from Epic Games (for example, Fortnite), as well as in some other titles and applications using payment methods and the Epic Games Store purchase model.

The exception is some types of subscriptions, such as "Fortnite Squad", which cannot be saved with cashback.

Epic rewards will become available 14 days after the payment is made and will be valid for 25 months from the moment they are credited to the account.
