Ubisoft is working on another project in the universe, The Division, which has not yet been officially announced. The information was shared by the American journalist and insider Jeff Grubb.
This week it became known that the French company decided to close the development of the long-suffering royal battle Ghost Recon Frontline, which after a negative reaction from the players was sent for rework.
However, this does not mean that Ubisoft has abandoned its attempts to gain a foothold in the popular genre.
According to Grubb, the publishing house plans to release a royal battle in the universe of The Division, which is codenamed Reaper. At the same time, he has a difficult destiny.
The game was in development for about a year, but in 2021 it was frozen. The reason was the negative reviews of the testers.
But after the end of the failed royal battle of Hyper Scape, work on Reaper resumed. A distinctive feature of the project will be the presence of elements characteristic of the "rogue-like" genre.
But Grubb didn't specify what is meant by it specifically. It should be noted that Ubisoft now continues to produce content for The Division.
A mobile project called The Division Resurgence and a free-to-play game called The Division Heartland are also under development.
