Gotham Knights game with Batman successors will not have built-in purchases and a permanent Internet connection

In addition to the new gameplay footage, Gotham Knights from WB Games Montreal also received answers from developers to the most common questions.

They once again confirm that Gotham Knights is a role-playing action in the open world with a brand new original story unrelated to the Batman: Arkham series and the upcoming eponymous series. Events of the game will unfold after the death of Batman and will tell about the formation of his four followers as new defenders of Gotham City. The main characters will be Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin.

Other information:

• As the campaign progresses, players will be able to customize the appearance of their character with new equipment and weapons;

• Gotham Knights can be played alone or together with a friend in an online cooperative;

• Players will be able to at any time is not currently planned. No internet connection is required for single player;

• There will be no built-in purchases or microtransactions in the game.

Gotham Knights will be

released on October 25 this year on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. Versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 have been discontinued.
