The top manager told about it in interview of Bloomberg edition. As Phil Spencer explained, creating economic models within modern games through blockchain technologies is an interesting concept.

However, now, according to the head of Xbox, such practices do not have a formed and consistent form, and therefore risk becoming something dangerous.

"Let's be honest, in the industry similar exists for many years. There are people who devote all their time to the production of virtual currency, and then sell it to other players for real money.

However, now there are projects on the market that directly integrate such an economic model directly into the gameplay. [And we think it's not time for that], ”Phil Spencer said.

Earlier, Microsoft said that Microsoft will not allow NFT in Minecraft, because it believes that in the current form of technology can be dangerous for players, especially if we talk about children.

Spencer noted that someday in the future there may be interesting concepts of using such technologies in games, but there is absolutely no hurry yet.
