Howard and Spencer on Starfield: the finishing touches and incredible opportunity

The Starfield role-playing simulator will not be released soon: according to the most optimistic forecasts, the game will be released in early 2023. However, game director and executive producer of Bethesda Game Studios Todd Howard assures that the developers are already making final touches. Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, also took part in the press conference dedicated to the upcoming E3. According to him, Starfield will be considered as a key point of acquisition of ZeniMax Media, during which Arkane, Bethesda, MachineGames and id Software became part of Xbox Game Studios. Phil Spencer has previously said that Starfield should be Bethesda's most popular game, eclipsing even Skyrim's decade-long success. It sees Starfield as a platform that can reach billions of players on any device or application up to the browser. Todd Howard calls Starfield an “incredible opportunity” benefits of Xbox. And the fact that the company will provide access to the game to the maximum number of players, can make Starfield the most massive game Bethesda. Starfield was scheduled to be released in November 2022, but the release date was moved to 2023. Nothing is yet known about the exact timing.
