The Avalanche Studios team, best known for working on the Just Cause action series, is working on a new original game in the medieval setting, which is a dynamic "bagel" with a third-person perspective. Insiders Sean Weber and Tom Henderson shared relevant information.

Inside Avalanche, the new project is reported to be codenamed Jackdaw, but the game is likely to be released as Ravenbound: Tales of Avalt.

Ravenbound: Tales of Avalt has to offer players a big open world made in the aesthetics of the Middle Ages. Users will have to assume the role of a warrior, described as the "shell of the Raven", who has the ability to turn into a bird and be resurrected after his death.

The gameplay base of the project will be a trip to the locations, battles with opponents and the development of your hero. One of the mechanics is the ability to handle the crow and explore the area from a height in the manner of the last parts of Assassin's Creed.

In turn, the roglite elements will be tied to the death system. Having died, the hero has the opportunity to be resurrected, but already in the image of another warrior — in total three options will be available, differing by unique weapons and abilities.

There is no information about the release date of Ravenbound: Tales of Avalt or even the date of the official announcement. According to Weber, the game is in good condition and can be presented to the public in the near future.

Recall that right now Avalanche Studios is also working on . In addition to that .
