Insider: Microsoft will come to the exhibition Gamescom 2022 - possible announcements

The Gamescom 2022 exhibition will be held in physical format for the first time since 2019. At the moment, the organizers have not yet disclosed the list of participants, but according to the latest information, one of them will be Microsoft.

In the latest episode of The Xbox Two podcast, Windows Central editor Jez Corden said he had heard that the Redmond giant would be among the biggest publishers to appear on  Gamescom this year.

According to him, it is partially connected with return of physical part of show. It is also possible that Xbox will not only present its novelties at the exhibition, but also save some announcements for it.

Gamescom 2022 will be held from 24 to 28 August and will offer both online activities and events for visitors to the will open with a presentation of Opening Night Live, and this time the show will be held locally with a live audience and broadcast on the network through official channels.
