Interest in Hideo Kojima has grown dramatically after the announcement of Death Stranding 2, held at The Game Awards 2022 ceremony.

This is evidenced by the statistics of the Google search engine, published by the publication AverageBeing.

According to AverageBeing, the number of search queries with the words "Hideo Kojima" on Google has reached a record high, increasing by 3,866. 68% following the premiere of the DS2 debut trailer.

Together with the person of Kojima himself, search engine users became more actively interested in the creativity of the game designer as a whole, thanks to which the number of requests for "Hideo Kojima Games" soared even higher - by 5297%.

The most interest in the Kojima games was shown in Canada, the USA, the Philippines, Australia and the UK, Brazil, Poland, Sweden, Mexico and Spain.

As for Death Stranding 2, its popularity on Google has grown by 844.91%.

The trailer of the game previously also became one of the most viewed videos from TGA 2022, placing in fifth place with more than 1.9 million views on YouTube.

The Death Stranding sequel is being created for PlayStation 5 under the working title "Death Stranding 2" and has no release date yet. The analysis of the first trailer can be found here.
