Looks spectacular, but playing uncomfortable — published 15 minutes of gameplay Elden Ring in VR

Last month, LukeRoss, creator of popular VR mods for GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn, unveiled similar work for Elden Ring.

In a short video, only the movement of the hero around the world was shown, which looked spectacular. But, as many suspected, in battles, the first-person view does not perform well, even with a slightly modified interface.

You can see it all in the current 15-minute video filmed by UploadVR - excessive camera jerking and the character's head intermittently blocking the view.

In fairness, it should be noted that this is not the final version of the mod, so there is a chance for a fix. Plus, even in this format, you can find the use of VR by activating the “excursion” mode. In it, the enemies lose all interest in the player, allowing him to calmly wander around the world and admire the surroundings.
