Noriaki Okamura recently took part in the Famitsu survey, which the magazine staff traditionally conducts among Japanese developers at the end of the year.
The veteran Konami studio and producer of Metal Gear Solid said that "2023 will be a year of many announcements." Players will also be shown some “long-awaited project”.
Which one, Okamura did not specify. It's worth noting that Noriaki has been with Konami since 1991 and has had a hand in creating many of the studio's iconic games.
According to insiders, following the return of Silent Hill, Konami plans to loudly return Metal Gear Solid.
In particular, the network is actively discussing rumors about the development of a remake of Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
