According to the insider NateDrake from ResetEra forums, Microsoft gave a green light to the development of a new platformer in the Banjo-Kazooie line for Xbox Series X|S. Which studio commissioned the release of the project — unknown.
Initially, NateDrake assumed that the restart of the series of adventures of the bear Banjo and the bird Kazui will be presented at the June presentation of Microsoft and Bethesda, held on June 12, but there, the Xbox team decided to focus only on those games that are to be released in the coming year. Banjo-Kazooie is not one of them.
