Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on a new controller for the PlayStation 5 console. We are talking about the so-called DualSense Pro version, which retains the familiar shape of the gamepad, but differs in a number of innovations. The authoritative insider Tom Henderson announced the development of the device.
Among the features of the new DualSense, there is the ability to remove analog sticks using special buttons below them or adjust their height, the presence of trigger travel controls (the so-called trigger stops), as well as the presence of "petals" on the back of the controller. The latter are popular among cybersportsmen.
The prototype also has a special attachment that helps to more comfortably hold the controller. Apparently, it will be free to remove.
The release date of the new version of DualSense has not yet been announced, but its working title is known - Hunt.
According to Henderson, in the near future the company plans to talk about new accessories, among which there will be a Pro version of DualSense.
