New screenshots of the "Gothic" remake appeared — with a demonstration of the locations and armor of the heroes

The German portal GameStar published an exclusive preview of the first part of the "Gothic", which is developed by Alkimia Interactive studio with the support of THQ Nordic.

The publication is available only to users with a paid subscription to GameStar Plus, but the network has already begun to distribute its excerpts, including a selection of fresh screenshots from the early build of the game.

The images show the reworked and improved locations of the iconic RPG, including the Old Camp Market, the Blacksmith's Shop, the Gladiator Arena and the Gomez Castle Wine Cellar.

Separately, journalists also showed renderings of characters dressed in the armor of the Bolotny and Old Camps.

Gothic 1 Remake received approval for full production after a positive reaction to a playable teaser that appeared on Steam in 2019.

The project is planned to be released on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, but when exactly, the developers are not yet ready to talk.
