The Japanese edition of Nikkei writes that Nintendo is negotiating with suppliers of components for its new console.
According to estimates, the Switch successor will go on sale no earlier than the second half of 2024. Currently, Nintendo Switch sales amount to about 120 million consoles.
Journalists expect that this year the company will sell another 20 million pieces of "Candles". The hybrid platform, according to Nikkei, will surpass the NES era in generation duration.
Earlier, publications appeared on the network about the cancellation of the Nintendo Switch Pro.
