Capcom confirmed new details regarding the non-xtgen versions of Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Earlier this month, the publisher announced that the last parts of the horror series this year will receive an update for the next generation consoles, which will be free for all current owners of these games.

Now Capcom has specified through social networks that owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will be able to import into the updated versions of the games data saves from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The migration will also be available for DLC, supplied with Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition. This is Banned Footage Vol. 1 and 2, episode epilogue End of Zoe and the free extension Not a Hero.

Together with the new consoles, free patches with improvements will be released for PC versions of all three games.
