NVIDIA positions RTX 4070 for games at 1440p at 100 FPS

New promo materials of the GeForce RTX 4070 video card, including official performance comparisons, have leaked to the network.

One of the leaked images shows the video card itself in the reference version of Founders Edition, and also briefly lists key information.

It is confirmed that the RTX 4070 will be released on April 13 at a price of $ 599 and will be focused on gaming at 1440p with 100+ frames per second when using retracing and DLSS 3.

There are also slides with a performance comparison, according to which the RTX 4070 will be in 1, 4; 1, 7 and 1, 8 times faster compared to RTX 3080, 3070 Ti and 3070 respectively when using DLSS 3 and Frame Generation.

Another diagram devoted to tests in games demonstrates that at a resolution of 1440p with DLSS and ray tracing enabled, the RTX 4070 is able to double the performance compared to the RTX 3070 and provide 100+ FPS in games using NVIDIA frame generation technology, however, in games where there is no support for Frame Generation, the increase in frame rate is no longer so big.

The official announcement of the RTX 4070 is expected on April 12.
