NVIDIA is preparing to release a new low-cost GeForce GTX 1630 graphics card. It will be the first 30th model in the GTX range and the first update of the series since 1650, which appeared on the market back in April 2019.

According to VideoCardz, the GTX 1630 should replace the GTX 1050 Ti, so it is likely to cost less than $190 as the GTX 1650 occupies this price category. The specifications of the GTX 1630 are currently unknown, but it can be expected that the graphics card will be built on a Turing generation TU117 graphics chip with a power consumption of less than 75 W and an updated GDDR6 memory.

The GTX 1650 series has already five models, including models based on TU106, TU116 and TU117 and even the SUPER variant. However, some of them are not available in certain markets, and the same principle can be applied to the GTX 1630.

VideoCardz notes that it has received confirmation of the existence of the GTX 1630 from two sources. No announcement from NVIDIA has been received yet.
