Yesterday was the first day of the online festival QuakeCon 2022, which was marked not only by thematic sales, free giveaways and announcements for the Game Pass, but also pleased with some news from id Software.
At the outset of the broadcast, the studio's executive producer, Marty Stratton, confirmed that id Software's "next big game" was under development.
The fact that the team did not sit idle after the release of DOOM Eternal was already known from various vacancies, but now it can be considered an official announcement.
Unfortunately, id Software is not yet ready to share any details and project details.
Here's what Stratton said:"We here at id Software are working hard on our next big game, but we're not ready to share the details yet."
The last game of the studio - DOOM Eternal - was released in March 2020, after which the shooter received a two-part plot extension of The Ancient Gods.
