The reissues of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden will receive native versions for the latest generation consoles only in the case of the Xbox Series X|S. The Gematsu portal reports that Atlus finally gave a comment on a request made back in the summer of this year, confirming that the versions of both "Persons" that will be released next January will work natively on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. However, on the PS5, games for some reason will not get native versions and will be launched on the latest generation console from Sony in versions with PlayStation 4.
At the same time, Persona 5 Royal, coming out at the end of this month, will still have a direct port for the PlayStation 5.
The re-release of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden is scheduled for January 19.
