Microsoft's deal with Activision Blizzard is still under serious consideration by regulators, which does not prevent the Redmond corporation from making plans for the future of Call of Duty.

At the moment, the series is multiplatform, which is why, for example, Sony is worried about its consoles.

However, the head of Xbox Phil Spencer assures that he will not lock the shooter within certain platforms.

Microsoft plans to make a second Minecraft out of Call of Duty and develop it in such a way that as many users of "different screens" as possible will see the series.

"In particular, Call of Duty will be available on PlayStation. I would like to see the series on the Nintendo Switch, I would like to be able to play the shooter on different screens.

We intend to treat Call of Duty like Minecraft." Spencer once again confirmed that the decision to buy Activision Blizzard was influenced by the presence of a strong mobile division of this company.

The corporation is interested in 3 billion people playing on smartphones and tablets. The audience of consoles does not exceed 200 million people.
