Photo: A first look at Rachel Zegler as Snow White from the new Disney movie

Disney's behind-the-scenes photographs of the remake of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs featured Rachel Zegler as the title heroine.

It is a film adaptation of the Disney animated film of 1937, based on the Grimm brothers' tale of the same name. The details of the project are still kept secret, but it seems that the creators adhere to a direct adaptation of the original ribbon, at least in terms of costume design.

Snow White's dress almost exactly follows the cartoon outfit with a long yellow skirt and a blue corset top with  lush blue-red shoulders and a white stand-up collar. The only difference is the long sleeves added to the suit.

The game adaptation of Snow White will be staged by Mark Webb, known for the New Spider-Man dictionary. The screenplay was written by Oscar nominees Greta Gervig (Lady Bird) and Erin Cressida Wilson (Secretary). Along with Zegler, who plays the princess, the Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot will appear in the film as the Evil Queen.

The release of the tape is scheduled for 2023.
