The number of broadcast hours decreased by 12% in the second quarter.

Compared to the same period in 2021, the number of hours of streaming on games fell by 18, 1% and by 8, 4% compared to the first quarter.

The situation may be related to the fact that people began to spend more time on the street due to the removal of restrictions of the pandemic.

Twitch is still the largest player in the market among the three platforms with a 76.7% share in viewing hours (5.64 billion) and 92.7% streaming hours (204.2 million).

The figures decreased by 13, 4% and 16% compared to the second quarter of 2021, respectively. The number of unique accounts on the platform decreased by almost 2 million and amounted to 9.6 million.

However, the Just Chatting category on Twitch rose, setting a new record. It remains the most popular streaming service.

Next are GTA V (465 million hours) and League of Legends (464 million).

YouTube Gaming's audience remained virtually unchanged from the previous quarter, although the number of views fell by 13, 1% compared to the second quarter of 2021 to 1, 13 billion hours.

The total number of streaming hours decreased by 9.6% year-on-year to 8.05 million.
