A couple of weeks ago, Kickstarter launched a fundraiser for the development of Armed Fantasia: To the End of the Wilderness.
The Japanese role-playing game is presented as the ideological heiress of Wild Arms with PlayStation. Debut and subsequent trailers demonstrate the combat system and visual component.
The action of the game unfolds in the country of Londenium, where the main character named Ingram decides to leave his home after the death of his grandfather and become a Pathfinder.
The latter have the ability to use arm (Aether Reaction Maximizer) weapons, saving the world from anomalies. In his travels, Ingram meets Euclid and Alicia, who become members of his group.
Players will find turn-by-turn battles, a vast area to explore, naval and air traffic control, and so on.
WILD BUNCH Productions, led by WILD Arms veteran Akifumi Kaneko, is responsible for the development.
The game is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and next-generation console from Nintendo. At the moment, the fundraising goal has been exceeded.
Armed Fantasia is funded on Kickstarter paired with another JRPG — Penny Blood from the creators of Shadow Hearts.
