The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR from the creators of Until Dawn will be available with the release of PlayStation VR2

Eurogamer reports that the new development of the Supermassive Games studio, known to players for the horror Until Dawn, will be included in the PlayStation VR2 launch line.

Recall that The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR is an offshoot of the anthology The Dark Pictures and is made in the genre of rail shooter.

In fact, the project will become the spiritual heir to Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, released in 2016 for the original PlayStation VR.

Switchback VR will send players on a "multi-level journey" in which they will have to survive on a terrifying ghost ship with distorted visions, face creepy demonic incarnations of 17th-century New England witches, fight otherworldly vampires and escape from the nightmarish World's Fair Hotel with a sadistic serial killer thirsting for blood.

PlayStation VR2 is expected to be released on February 22, 2023.

For pre-ordering, players will receive a Demon Handgun, a special edition Gold Gun, a premium trolley with a skull and bones, as well as a decoration in the form of a toy with a swinging head.
