Studio Rare announced the postponement of the launch of the seventh season of the multiplayer pirate adventure Sea of Thieves.
Initially, the major update was supposed to be released on July 21, but now it will appear a couple of weeks later — on August 4.
According to the developers, an additional two weeks will allow the team to polish new features and do without recycling.
In the new season, a Captaincy feature set will appear that will allow players to name ships, customize the interior, and earn a whole lot of new rewards for progress.
According to the roadmap, the next adventure should appear in the game on August 18. Sea of Thieves is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
