The presentation was attended by Naughty Dog co-president Neil Drakmann, creative director Sean Eskaig and game development manager Matthew Gallant.

The Last of Us Part I will be able to work in native 4K resolution at a frame rate of 30 FPS or in dynamic 4K at a frame rate of 60 FPS.

The game will also have support for 3D sound and the unique features of the DualSense wireless controller, which are adaptive triggers and tactile feedback.

Naughty Dog stated that "the whole game was redesigned from scratch, starting with artwork and ending with character models".

The team sought to take advantage of the new generation of graphics capabilities, and the PlayStation 5 enabled many visual improvements.

The game recycled physics — the bullets can now destroy concrete and other environmental objects.

The developers also used Motion Matching technology, which makes the animations look smoother and more realistic.

From the second part to the remake, a more realistic AI, a mode with permanent death and crafting moved.

In addition, the game will include an improved photo mode, new T-shirts, weapons skins and a mode with a detailed view of models.

The Last of Us Part I will be released on September 2 for the PlayStation 5. The PC version is under development and will appear somewhat later.
