Resident Evil's horror show will be released this summer — the release date and Netflix's "Habitants of Evil" posters

Netflix streaming service approved the exact release date of the series with live actors based on Resident Evil.

The show starts worldwide (except Russia) in mid-summer, July 14. Together with the announcement of the release dates, the online platform also presented three teaser-posters.

One of them shows a logo with blood bubbles, the other shows a pill with the word Joy and the logo of Umbrella Corp, and the third poster shows a tube with blood and a label, which indicates that the sample is positive for the T-virus pathogen.

The description of the plot reads:

"2036, 14 years after the deadly virus caused the global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights to survive in a world filled with bloodthirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute slaughter, Jade is haunted by her past from New Raccoon City, chilling her father's ties to the Umbrella Corporation, but mostly by what happened to her sister Billy. "

Jade's father will be Albert Wesker, played by Lance Reddick. Netflix has previously confirmed that the series will roll out in two timelines, one of which will be teenagers for Jade and Billy, and the other will show the future devastated by the zombie virus.
