Respawn Entertainment Studio has unveiled a trailer for the next hero of Apex Legends — Ballistics.

According to Lore, he returns to the arena after learning that his son has passed the selection tests. The hero makes a deal, according to which the son is excluded, and he participates in the games.

According to insiders, Ballistics will receive three barrels at once, and its ultimate ability accelerates reloading, movement speed with a weapon in a holster and gives endless cartridges to allies.

The appearance of the character will take place on May 9 with the start of a new season called Arsenal.

In addition to the appearance of Ballistics, Respawn will update the "Edge of the World" map, add new tests called "Gunsmithing" with awards, improve the shooting range, and also make edits to the rating mode.

Earlier, the developers opened a third studio, which will help work on new updates for Apex Legends. The authors also expressed a desire to support the Battle royale for at least 20 years.
