Journalist and insider Jez Corden returned to the theme of the royal battle of Halo Infinite, revealing additional details.

As was previously known, the mode, codenamed Tatanka, does not repeat "neighbors" like Call of Duty: Warzone, but will offer something of its own. For starters, there will be not only PvP, but also PvE elements.

In addition, the authors are testing the "twos and triples" mode, which, apparently, will allow you to perform some tasks in a team. Players will have different goals on a large map, such as capturing and holding points of interest.

A respawn system will appear in the royal battle, the mechanics of which are also being tested by the developers. There are also separate elements of a single player game "inside" the mode - the elimination of important targets and the same capture of points. In this case, victory is achieved thanks to earned points and killings of the enemy.

But with the release, things are more complicated - Corden again reminded that the mode has been developed for two years, but he cannot name its release date. An insider suggests that the royal battle will appear no earlier than the third season, and maybe the fourth.

At the same time, the second season, whose content turned out to be quite modest, starts only on May 3.
