Improved reissues of two seasons of Telltale Games' episodic Sam & Max quest will appear on PlayStation consoles later this month.
Sam & Max: Save The World Remastered and Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered, already released on PC, Switch and Xbox, will be available for purchase through the PS Store from September 29.
The original version of Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space was previously ported to PS3, but as for the sequel, PlayStation users will be able to play it for the first time.
The remasters were developed by Skunkape Games, founded by Dan Connors, former co-founder and CEO of Telltale.
After Telltale Games closed in 2018, Connors bought out the rights to the Sam & Max franchise and, with the support of other ex-studio employees, began working on a reissue of the Dilogy for modern platforms.
Sam & Max 1-2 remasters feature improved graphics with higher resolution and dynamic lighting, improved lip timing, updated sound and a range of other aesthetic and functional innovations.
