Ukrainian studio Frogwares announced a remake of the detective adventure Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, which was originally released in 2006.
The developers promise to significantly rework and rethink the project, transferring it to the Unreal Engine 4.
Among the changes will be an updated interface, animations, game mechanics, cutscenes, as well as a storyline along with the addition of additional quests.
The authors will present more details together with the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, designed to contribute to the final stages of the game production.
In addition, together with the announcement, the developers published the first screenshots and artwork of the updated version of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, created for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
