Sony has shown new models of Walkman audio players. The new items were named NW-ZX700 and NWA 300.
They run on the Android 12 operating system and support streaming services.
The flagship NWZ X 700 has a 5-inch HD touchscreen with a resolution of 1280x720, an S-Master HX digital amplifier and 64 GB of internal memory, which can be increased by microSD memory cards.
The built-in battery allows the player to work up to 22 hours without recharging. The more affordable model NW-A300 received a 3.6-inch touchscreen and 32 or 64 GB of internal memory to choose from.
The new products are equipped with a module for working with Wi-Fi 802.
11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless networks, and also support DSEE Ultimate technology based on artificial intelligence to improve the quality of compressed music to a higher real-time.
The players will go on sale in 2023. The NW-A300 will cost from $ 250, and the NW-ZX700 will cost customers at least $ 700.
