Thanks to pricetag, the disk and digital versions of the console will now be available at the same price as at the launch in 2020.

According to the change, which comes into force on April 1, the PS5 without a drive will be sold for 39,990 rupees, and the model that supports disk reading will cost 49,990 rupees.

In fact, Sony is returning the cost of the PlayStation 5 to the starting price at which the consoles were available before the rise in price at the end of last year.

Then the console prices were increased by 5,000 rupees. Recently, the company also temporarily reduced the cost of the PS5 in the USA for the first time since its launch.

Until April 15, as part of the promotion, you can purchase a console bundled with God of War: Ragnarok in the official PlayStation online store and in the country's largest retail chains for $ 509 instead of $ 559.

All this follows Sony's recent statement about the decline in the deficit on the PS5, which has been observed over the past two years.
