Sony launches new version of PlayStation 5 — 0.6kg lighter disc drive model

This morning, the network reported that Sony is preparing to launch a new revision of the PlayStation 5 code CFI-1200.

The Japanese trade network Geo indicated that such consoles will be 300 grams lighter than usual and will be released in the country on September 15 — the day of the recently announced price increase for PlayStation 5.
