Sony's PC version of Returnal looks like it will immediately receive Steam Deck support

The computer version of Returnal seems to be right at the start of Steam Deck support.

Recently, the dedicated page in the digital distribution service Steam was updated again — the developers added a control layout for the portable PC from Valve.

ResetEra users keep track of page updates. The official announcement of the PC version of Returnal has not yet been made.

The hidden Returnal page on Steam is codenamed Oregon. She was first discovered in May.

The Oregon page lists tags such as "rogue-like", "sci-fi", "bullet hell", "female protagonist", and "third-person shooter" that are explicitly associated with the PlayStation 5 exclusive.

At the same time, it is ironically referred to by the reference to the regime of the "endless tower" of Tower of Sisyphus and the planet Atropos, where the game directly unfolds.

The Oregon page in the Steam database is not the only indication of the imminent appearance of Returnal on the PC.

Back in early June, Reddit appeared supposed screenshots of the computer version of the game, which were verified by the moderators of the platform.

At that time, it was reported that together with Returnal, the platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which was part of the starting line of PlayStation 5, is also being prepared for release on the PC. In addition, one of the sources of the VGC publication shared a video with journalists, where it can be seen that Returnal works directly on the PC.

The video hasn't been published online yet.

Prior to that, the computer version of Returnal was featured in the leaked database of the cloud gaming service GeForce NOW.Returnal was released on PlayStation 5 in April 2021 and in the first two months it sold 560 thousand copies.
