Steam coming soon on Chrome OS

Valve is about to launch Steam on Chrome OS. The ad appeared on the official Google website, where the support manager promised an upcoming release.

Representatives of the company said that soon some Chromebook owners will get access to the alpha version of Steam.

“The team is working with Valve on implementing Steam on Chrome OS. We're excited to announce that we'll be launching an alpha version of the Chrome OS store on Dev for a small number of Chromebook owners. ”

Unfortunately, when exactly this happens, it is not reported. The first Chrome OS was released in 2011. The system can be installed on platforms with x86 processors and even arm. This is the practice of many companies that manufacture Chromebooks, including Samsung, ASUS, Acer, and others.
