Valve continues to increase its Steam Deck production, which means that users who have pre-ordered their PCs will receive their gaming systems much earlier than originally expected.

According to engineer Lawrence Young, many Steam Deck orders planned to be shipped in the fourth quarter of 2022 will now be delivered to customers in the third month, two, or even three earlier.

The developer encouraged players to check their mailboxes for a notification email.

According to the information provided, the effective work of Valve partners helped to increase deliveries and send Steam Deck to all customers more efficiently.

Plants are actively collecting new consoles, ahead of the forecasts set by analysts. Valve still does not reveal the exact number of Steam Deck sales, but says demand continues to exceed supply.

The company is already thinking about Steam Deck 2. Steam Deck can only be ordered on Steam — PCs are released one by one to users with previously opened accounts.

Steam Deck is not sold in regular stores, and it has not been officially released in Russia at the moment.
