Switch has officially became the first Nintendo console with billions of games. Before her cherished bar, even Wii and Nintendo DS could not achieve.

It is important to note that sales of digital games from ESHOP that do not have physical copies are not taken into account in the overall standings - only revenue, which ultimately refers to the “additional content” segment.

Accordingly, 1.036 billion - sales without hundreds of indie, which did not receive release on cartridges.

Nintendo Switch has more than two times beaten by sales of the Nintendo 3DS games (391.38 million) and WII U (103.6 million) combined.

According to the new financial report, in the 2022-2023 financial year, 35 Switch games dispersed more than 1 million copies, including 23 games from Nintendo.
